CVA Jiu-Jitsu Terms & Conditions
Welcome to CVA Jiu-Jitsu. By registering with or participating in classes at CVA Jiu-Jitsu, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Membership
Membership provides access to classes according to the membership purchased.
Memberships are personal and may not be transferred to another person.
All memberships continue until cancelled in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
2. Payments
Membership fees are payable in advance.
Payments are collected by Direct Debit or another approved payment method.
Failure to make payment may result in suspension of membership until outstanding fees are paid.
3. Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership at any time.
There are no fixed-term contracts or minimum membership periods.
4. Free Introductory Classes
Free introductory classes are available to new participants only.
All participants must complete the registration process and sign the liability waiver before taking part.
5. Health & Safety
Members are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
Any medical condition or injury that could affect safe participation should be disclosed to the coaches before training.
Members must follow all coaching instructions and train responsibly.
6. Conduct
CVA Jiu-Jitsu aims to provide a welcoming, respectful and safe environment.
Bullying, abusive behaviour, discrimination, intimidation or deliberate unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
CVA Jiu-Jitsu reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where behaviour is considered unacceptable.
7. Timetable
Class times may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.
8. Personal Property
Members are responsible for their own belongings.
CVA Jiu-Jitsu accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
9. Photography & Video
Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for coaching or promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing.
10. Liability
Participation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu involves inherent risks.
All participants must sign the CVA Jiu-Jitsu Liability Waiver before training.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
11. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with the CVA Jiu-Jitsu Privacy Policy...
